Bridget Insana started dancing at the age of 5, and enrolled in college at New School University in NYC as a dance major.
As a requirement for credits, she had to take a mat Pilates class. She instantly fell in love with the study of Pilates, and soon noticed changes in her body. She became stronger, more flexible, and more able to control her movements through a strong core. Pilates also helped in recovering from injuries, something she noticed for her other dance colleagues as well.
After noticing the tangible results Pilates delivered in helping people move more fluidly, Bridget decided to make it her career.
Bridget is certified in classical pilates through Power Pilates and Pilates Method Alliance. She has taught in Los Angeles under Shari Berkowitz, and has worked since 2011 as a team member of both Alycea Ungaro's Real Pilates and Hallee Altman's The Center Studio in the JCC in Manhattan.
Bridget works with wide variety of clients from athletes, to brides-to-be, to those just starting fitness regimens. She has extensive experience dealing with all types of injuries, such as low back pain, scoliosis, post-Natal, and other chronic conditions.
Bridget enjoys working with each client to craft individual fitness goals, and teach sessions customized to their needs, inspring people towards better health and wellness through the study of Pilates.
